Living Paintings

Pia had the pleasure of adding some braille acetate to some of Living Paintings’ touch-to-see books.

Living Paintings is a UK charity who designs, creates and publishes tactile books for blind and partially sighted people, and distribute these Touch to See books through their free postal library. The photos show Mog in Pia production.

These wonderful books not only provide children with the ability to read on their own, but also allow a parent with visual impairment to read to their child, giving them the opportunity to read together. For more information on the work of living paintings visit https://www.livingpaintings.org

Pia can transcribe text from any book, brochure or booklet and print it in braille on acetate, insert it in between the standard pages and finish with wire binding. If you have a need for this service, please get in touch via post@pia.co.uk
